CSIR provides specialised skills training in the nonwoven textiles industry
The Cape Town Branch Manager of Marshall Hinds, Denise Paul-Montanari, recently completed a week long training course at the CSIR Fibres and Textiles unit in Port Elizabeth aimed at skills upgrading in the nonwoven textiles industry.

Tasked to design and co-ordinate the launch of the new Convention Towers and the unveiling of Gavin Young's Olduvai statue in Cape Town, Farm Design used Tyvek® Soft Structure to dramatic effect . Kathy Wood of Farm Design needed a material that was strong, weather resistant and drapable. Tyvek® proved suitable on all counts.
